The European University of Valencia launches this course the new Master in International Leadership and Negotiation by UNITAR , the UN agency dedicated to training and research. This program, which starts in November, is designed to train a new generation of leaders in the social, political and economic spheres.

The new degree has a faculty made up of experts from the diplomatic field , international organizations, and academics with extensive professional experience.

Among them are, to name a few, figures of the stature of the Spanish ambassadors Fernando Villalonga and Nicolás Pascual de la Parte, Anton Morozov Diplomat of the Russian Federation at the UN in New York, or Jérôme L’host, UNITAR senior consultant .

The program will last one year and will be taught entirely in English and in a blended format , with the aim of making it compatible with the development of professional activity.

In the words of the director of the master and professor of International Relations at the European University of Valencia, Jorge Mestre, “this Master responds to the commitment of the European University of Valencia for innovation and for responding in an agile and constant way to the demands

Our students will acquire the skills and tools necessary to develop effective leadership in an environment in which diplomatic and negotiation skills are key when it comes to managing the challenges that the world faces, “he says.

Practical training through a differential academic model
The Master in International Leadership and Negotiation was born at a time when global society is facing important geopolitical, economic and environmental challenges, which are also added to the management of the consequences derived from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Faced with the complexity and instability of this context, the European University of Valencia is committed to training professionals capable of leading these challenges with a degree that “combines the best of university education with the experience of the UN,” says Jorge Maestre.

For this, the European University of Valencia has a methodology that affects practical training and the resolution of real cases that allows students to acquire high training and enhance their employability. In addition, the master will have networking sessions with active professionals in which they will be able to get closer to the reality of the profession and begin to build their own network of contacts.

The European University of Valencia, which is the only university in the Valencian Community that has a Degree in International Relations taught in English , consolidates with this new master its objective of becoming a reference in the training of leaders, and does so in the hand of an institution of the highest international prestige such as the United Nations institute for professional training and research, UNITAR.
